On Monday my parents came over to our house and we took Carsen Sledding. The powder was so deep and you went so fast on this hill that it literally choked you. It was after that, Carsen decided that it would be a good idea to wear goggles....After Carsen had sled down and climbed back up that huge hill seven times it was time to go home. Carsen decided he wanted a hotdog...so we went to COSTCO and he almost fell asleep on the way to the store.
When we got home we thought we'd try on his ski boots just to see they would fit. Of course he wanted to try out his skis. He started by walking up and and down the sidewalk with his skis (it was perfect conditions for this, remember the powder?) We've had enough snow that we have snow piles on either side of our drive way almost 6 feet tall. Quickly Carsen decided the sidewalk wasn't enough.
Carsen went down the snow drifts several times and fell in love with it. He's got skiing in his blood.
Pretty soon Carsen wanted to go through the trees, yeah that's right, GO BIG OR GO HOME
Even a natural skiier will wipe out every once in a while!
