So today has been a disaster

It all started with the headache, I went to bed with one and woke up with one. Hate that! Basically the morning was useless, I was cranky and got the kids to lay down with me in bed. Raegan fell asleep and I let her just stay in my bed. I went back in to check on her and I could smell a terrible diaper before I even go to the door. She was still asleep, but I knew I needed to change her. I started changing her and she woke up. SHe was crying and thrashing and upset, so I asked her to get in the tubby to get cleaned up, she wanted the shower, but I had to get in with her. SO I thought, fine, if she will calm down and get cleaned up I am fine with that. We get in the shower and I have just gotten her calmed down when I hear a thundering crash in my bedroom. I jump out of the shower and rush in to see Carsen trying to hold up the chest of drawers and the TV and all the components and everything that was on or in the dresser was splattered and smashed all over the carpet. He was screaming and crying saying, "I'm not dead mom, I'm not dead, I'm not dead mom etc..." SO I try to quickly get everything stabilized so it wont fall over on me too. I asked him what had happened, because he knows he is not to climb the dressers. He said he was jumping and trying to pull himself up on top of the dresser so he could get to a toy I had put up there. The chest/dresser is about four and a half feet tall...he was jumping up there to get on the top and he pulled everything off. I was upset with him, but grateful he was not hurt, he has a pretty nice bonk on his head, but his pupils are equal and he acts and seems fine, so I think he will be OK. But, seriously? In the past week he has drawn on 2 of my doors with pink sharpie marker, and drew on the wall with a black sharpie marker, and yes it was the wall I just painted 2 weeks ago. I don't think I am going to survive Spring Break.

Oh, yeah, after the TV situation I hopped back in the shower to help Raegs and I was bending down to soap her up and I slipped took her out and smashed my toes into the wall... Hopefully they are not broken, but I can't really move them or put any weight on them...fantastic...

aww MAN that is so NOT FUN! I'm so sorry to hear the CRAPY NEWS! Brendan had the same experiance not to long ago, BUT needless to say it was ONLY his own nightstand. A HUGE Goose Bump on the head and a bruse on his leg. At the time,I thought to myself, now if only People would believe that I don't abuse my Child! LOL, it happens. Hopefully Your Toes and Carsen feels better soon!

I'm so glad nobody was killed.... be the TV or by you... Sorry your toes got the bad end of the bargain! I hope the damage isn't permanant.

I hate those days. It's days like that that make me want to rent my children to people considering have kids...just to make sure they really want them.

At least tomorrow is a whole new day...hopefully a good one!!!!

Yikes!! I hope today has been better. . . .Don't you hate that feeling you have as a mom when you should just be grateful your kid is okay, but really you are furious at them for causing trouble.

Oh no! Maybe all the craziness happened in one day and the rest will be smooth sailing.....

Come on! Have a fun Spring Break! Stop hurting!
I am so glad that you guys are all ok. TVs are really scary and I worry about that!
I thought I had broken my toe 2 days before we moved! What a mess!
Hang in there!

Try magic eraser on the walls with sharpie marker - it works better than you would imagine.

Good luck recovering from Spring Break!
